This Privacy Policy describes how Cluck & Coop ("Cluck & Coop," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit https://cluckandcoop.com (the "Site"), purchase our products, or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the "Services"). Cluck & Coop ships only to the 48 contiguous United States, and this policy is written with U.S. customers in mind.

 

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Shipping Scope

 

We currently sell and ship only to the 48 contiguous United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations. Orders placed for excluded destinations will be canceled and refunded.

 

3. Sales Tax

 

Cluck & Coop is a small remote seller and does not currently meet the economic-nexus thresholds that would require sales-tax collection in most U.S. states (commonly $100,000 in annual sales or 200 transactions per state). Until we cross a state's threshold and register there, sales tax is not added to your order in that state. Depending on where you live, you may be responsible for remitting use tax directly to your state. We monitor our nexus status and will begin collecting sales tax in any state where we are required to do so.

 

4. Information We Collect

  • Contact details: name, shipping address, billing address, email, and phone number
  • - Order details: items purchased, order confirmations, and communications about your order

We may retain information longer where required by law or to resolve disputes.

California residents: we collect the categories of personal information described in Section 4 (identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet and device activity, geolocation at the state/ZIP level, and inferences drawn from the above) from the sources and for the purposes described above. We share these categories with the service providers and advertising partners described in Section 6.

 

10. Children's Privacy

 

Our Services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including Shopify's hosted checkout and tokenized payment processing. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on the Site and update the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
