General Questions
Basic information about Cluck & Coop, our products, and how we operate.
What is Cluck & Coop?
Cluck & Coop is an online retailer of premium chicken coops serving customers across the 48 contiguous United States. We offer carefully selected coop styles from trusted U.S. manufacturing partners, including Amish-built wood coops and SnapLock Formex plastic coops.
Where are your coops made?
Our Amish-built wood coops are manufactured in the United States by our trusted supplier partners. Our SnapLock Formex plastic coops are also made by a U.S. manufacturer. We focus on products that are durable, practical, and suitable for long-term backyard chicken keeping.
Are you the manufacturer?
Cluck & Coop is an online retailer, not the direct manufacturer. We work with carefully selected U.S. supplier partners who build and ship the coops directly to customers. This allows us to offer premium coops while providing customer support, payment options, and buying guidance through Cluck & Coop.
Do you have a physical showroom?
Cluck & Coop is an online store. We do not currently operate a physical showroom. However, we provide product photos, videos, descriptions, specifications, and support to help you choose the right coop.

Shipping & Delivery
Information about where we ship, delivery timelines, freight delivery, curbside delivery, and how to prepare for delivery.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to the 48 contiguous United States. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or international destinations.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery timelines depend on the product type:
- Amish-built wood coops: typically 4–6 weeks from order date
- SnapLock Formex plastic coops: typically 5–10 business days, depending on availability and destination
Timelines may vary due to demand, production schedules, weather, and carrier availability.
How are Amish-built wood coops delivered?
Most Amish-built wood coops are shipped by freight or private delivery carrier. Delivery is typically curbside unless otherwise stated. The carrier may contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.
Are the coops delivered fully assembled?
All Amish-built wood coops are delivered fully assembled. SnapLock Formex plastic coops are shipped unassembled and require customer assembly.
What should I do to prepare for delivery?
Before delivery, please make sure:
- Your delivery location is accessible
- The area is level and ready for placement
- There is enough room for the delivery vehicle
- You have help available if the coop needs to be moved after curbside delivery
For larger coops, a prepared gravel pad or level foundation may be recommended.
Will the delivery driver place the coop exactly where I want it?
Delivery placement depends on the delivery method, carrier, property access, and product type. Unless white-glove placement or special placement is explicitly confirmed, delivery should be expected as curbside or nearest accessible point.
What if my property has limited access?
If your driveway, road, gate, trees, slope, or property layout may limit access, contact us before ordering. This helps us review delivery expectations and avoid delays or additional charges.
Coop Selection & Sizing
Guidance on choosing the right coop style and size based on your flock, backyard space, and future plans.
How do I choose the right coop size?
Choose your coop based on the number of chickens you plan to keep, available backyard space, and how much room you want your flock to have. We recommend allowing extra space if you expect your flock to grow.
What coop styles do you offer?
We offer several coop styles, including:
- Quaker coops
- Dutch coops
- Lean-To coops
- A-Frame coops
- Tractor coops
- Combination coops
- SnapLock Formex plastic coops
What is the difference between wood coops and SnapLock plastic coops?
Amish-built wood coops are premium, durable structures with traditional styling and larger design options. SnapLock Formex plastic coops are lightweight, easy to clean, low maintenance, and typically ship faster.
Which coops are best for small flocks?
Small flock coops are generally suitable for up to 8 chickens or fewer. These may include smaller Quaker, Lean-To, A-Frame, Tractor, and SnapLock options.
Which coops are best for large flocks?
Large flock coops are designed for more than 8 chickens and can support larger flock sizes depending on the model. Combination and larger Quaker or Dutch models are often good options for customers who need more space.
What if I am not sure which coop to buy?
Contact us or request an invoice. We can help you compare coop styles, flock capacity, delivery expectations, and payment options.

Are all customization options shown online?
Not always. Some options may require a quote or confirmation. Contact us if you want to confirm whether a specific option is available.
Do the coops include nesting boxes?
Many coops include nesting boxes, but the number and configuration vary by model. Please check the product description and specifications for each coop.
Do the coops include roosting bars?

Returns, Damage & Support
What to do if your coop arrives damaged, something is missing, or you need help after placing your order.
What is your return policy?

SnapLock Formex products may have different return rules. Please review our full Return & Refund Policy before ordering.
