Suzanne’s Chicken Coop With Automatic Door

Chicken Coop in NJ
Suzanne became a chicken owner by accident. She lives in a 200-year-old farmhouse in NJ that has been home to chickens for the entire time, and she inherited the previous owner’s chickens when she moved onto the property. She started with 8 chickens, but as she had kids, they became interested in raising chickens, so she wanted to expand her coop and flock. Keep reading to learn more about their chicken coop with an automatic door.
Q & A with Suzanne and Her Kids
What do you like about raising chickens?
“I like coming down here and getting the eggs, and I like feeding them.”
“Having the chickens become pets has been the most enjoyable and rewarding part of this experience because my children are so engaged. They’ve named all the chickens, and they come out every day looking for certain ones, holding them, and collecting their eggs. The chickens have become a part of our family.”
Tell me about your first interaction with our Collection (Website, phone call, visit to the office, etc.)
“My experience with Cluck & Coop's Collection has been phenomenal from the beginning. It started with an introductory phone call so I could get a feel for what they offered and their customer service because that’s always a big part of a major purchase.”
“My interactions with everyone who answered the phone were phenomenal. They were kind. They weren’t pushy and didn’t try to upsell me to a different kind of coop. They asked me what my needs were, and then they tried to help me meet my needs.”
What do you love most about your chicken coop?
“This coop has surpassed every expectation I could have ever had for a coop. The automatic door is reliable. The wood is thick, it feels solid when you close the door. With previous structures we’ve had, they’ve been a little shaky, but with this, I know when I close the door, it’s not going to open and the chickens are safe, sound, and dry inside. That is the most important part to us, keeping them safe and happy.”
